Yes, it’s true. The School of the Art Institute of Chicago will award an honorary doctorate to Kanye West at graduation this month. The decision to honor the Chicago-born hip-hop artist, which caused a bit of uproar, is not the most exciting thing happening in the art world here, though. That would be the actual art.
